This week we finally finished both racquetball challenges (manual and autonomous). The autonomous was definitely the most difficult challenge due to time constraints. Our design had a flaw where the arm would start to fall by itself after a certain point and we didn't give ourselves enough time to fix this. This forced us to have to perfectly position the robot and the pipe so that the arm would drop in the correct spot. On the other hand, our design was rather creative in my opinion and this made the task easier. The arm would grab the ball in front and then swing all the way to the back so that the robot in an arc so that it never had to turn around.

                             Week Eleven

Finally after nearly a full week of the team being absent we are back together and working on the robot.  We got through our coding issue that was holding us back from being  able to complete any more challenges.  I'm very optimistic about our ability to finish this robot soon and with a good grade on it.  Solidworks is due today with the robot completed on it.  We've completed solidworks for nearly a week now.  Throughout the week we want to complete the racquetball challenge.

We did not complete anything this week because both of my partners were absent the whole week. Our controller went missing and we now have 7th hours group 2 controller, which I think is broken. ITS ALL OVER

Week Ten

This week our goals are to complete the Racquetball challenge (never happening). The past week we have been having problems with our robot. We coded the arm to go up and down but when we press the buttons it goes up and not down. When we switched the motor controller it went down and not up.
UPDATE: We fixed it :).

Friday, May 6, 2016

This week we did not really complete much due to the errors in our code. We are too dumb to fix it so I hope we can fix it Monday. Solidworks is completed and up on our blog.

Week Nine (Problems)

Our goals this week are to complete the racquetball challenge. Joe and I have testing Monday which is a day loss and Super Testing Tuesday and Wednesday. Our code is still broken and the motor controllers wont reach far enough. Life is great.

Racquetball Solidworks

We are having some setbacks due to errors in the left side of our robot. We thought it was the motor so we took it apart and wasted more time. We then found out it was the motor controller and switched it. It works now but our code will not work now. Pretty fun stuff. The racquetball controlled challenge was not completed. I hope everything goes well next week

Monday, April 25, 2016

This week we are starting the racquetball challenge. We will need to extend the arm so it can reach the top of the pipe where it will drop in the ball.

Monday, April 18, 2016

This week we are preparing to conquer the autonomous tetrahedron challenge. We are going through some problems but we will overcome them. Although we did not complete the solidworks tetrahedron, we are on our way to creating a design for the racquetball challenge. Hope it works

Friday, April 15, 2016

This week we did not complete many things due to problems with coding. Solidworks is coming along but is not quite there. Other then that things are going great. I hope next week we can complete the autonomous tetrahedron challenge and move on to the other challenges ahead.

autonomous arm

This week we are coding our robot for the autonomous tetrahedron challenge. lets go team.

Friday, April 8, 2016

This week we had trouble creating an arm design. Many of the designs had small flaws that prevented it from working. Solidworks is going well and I hope we can complete the tetrahedron challenge.

Monday, April 4, 2016

This week our goals are to build the arm to our robot and update our solidworks to resemble our creation. Another goal we need to achieve is conquering the tetrahedron autonomous challenge.

Friday, April 1, 2016

This week we programmed our robot to drive itself around two chairs for 3 laps. The program required extensive tweaking and editing becuase external factors made the ride inconsistent. It seems as though you should be able to program the robot to go for one lap and then copy that two more times but unfortunately that was not the case.

Monday, March 28, 2016

This week we our goals are to program our robot to complete 3 laps around two chairs autonomously. This is our first challenge, so I hope it goes well. We are also completing solidworks.

Friday, March 18, 2016

We started to write the program that will make our robot drive around without a controller. It will have to go around 2 chairs by itself for 3 laps.

This week we have accomplished a lot. Congrats team. we have successfully assembled our robot, and synchronized the cortex with the remote. We are now ready to program the robot for our second challenge...

                                                                    Go!!!!! Team!!!

At the beginning of last week our goal was to build the base of our robot to accomplish the first task.

Sunday, March 6, 2016

This week we successfully cleared out the inside of the storage carts. We also received our toolbox and a Vex robot kit. Stuff's about to get real.

Monday, February 29, 2016

This week we will be organizing our toolbox, preparing our work-space, finishing up our first blog, and designing our robot. If time allows, we might even start constructing our robot.
